Day Six: Your view on mainstream music.

It depends on what decade you’re referring to really.

Unless you just mean mainstream music in general. In which case I don’t have a strong opinion on it either way. I like some of it, and I don’t like some of it. I don’t listen to something solely because everybody else is listening to it. If I don’t like a really popular song then I won’t listen to it.

Basically what I am saying is that an artist or song being considered mainstream does not determine whether I listen to them or not, so the term ‘mainstream” doesn’t mean much to me.

Hitting back on my first statement though, I really enjoyed most of the music considered mainstream in the 90’s.
